When first given this assignment I thought about all the places I could have went to find the where the director of the movie could have been. I went to look at the back of the cover of the movie. I debated whether or not I was going to look on the internet or if I was going to go to the library. When I decided that there wasn't enough time to go to the library to look up the literary work I decided to use the internet. I then decided to start my quest by searching Google and yahoo. The director of the movie Brown Sugar is Rick Famuyiwa. The process of finding the director was simple I just had to look on the back of the cover of the movie. Using the internet was a way for me to access multiple sources. I decided to use the internet because it was the easiest way to go with the least amount of hassle. It was also the quickest way to go because of all the other work that I have to do. It also gives you quick results in a timely manner. The advantage of the internet has allowed for quick results on my author. Another advantage was that multiple sources came up with information about the works of that author. A disadvantage is that you have to search through and find creditable sources. Another disadvantage is that you have to be able to make sure that the information is useable. A disadvantage would be that when going to the websites that you read the reviews and they come from a creditable source. The overall task was simple no matter which publication you chose whether it was a poem, book, movie or television series.

Hip Hop Culture Around The World
Hip-hop has influenced many artists and Panjabi Mc is an example of one break through artist. His famous record though is not known by him it is better known by Jayz’s remix. The hip-hop influence around the world is undeniable because the hip-hop culture is expanding. Unlike hip-hop in America, around the world they are talking about the government or what they see every day. Hip-hop has evolved into something greater than the beat boxers, and break dancers that were jamming to the MC's. It has turned into self expression and trying to make changes.
Panjabi MC made his international breakthrough complete with "Mundian to Bach Ke" ("Beware of the Boys") during 2002 and 2003, the song was several years old. His professional career reached back to 1993.Before he was signed, the MC was honing his skills as a freestyler. Then he began to record more of his own tracks, which lead to stop using studio sounds and incorporated live musicians.
His first single, "Rootz," was released officially on an independent label, but it was banned allegedly due to politics within the bhangra music industry. A steady release of albums throughout the '90s made Panjabi MC one of the most prominent names in bhangra. "Mundian to Bach Ke," recognized immediately for its use of the dynamic bass line from the Knight Rider. The incorporation of the traditional dhol (drums) and tumbi (one-string guitar) instruments became successful across the globe, placing the MC on the U.K.'s Top of the Pops program while leading to a Jay-Z remix.

Peer Review
The peer review in class this week was somewhat helpful. I think that if we would of had more time that we could have discussed the paper more. Unfortunately I feel that we spent too much time trying to fill out the sheet of paper. I think that we get more out of a discussion about what is wrong and good about the paper. The next peer review I think that instead of trying to fill out that sheet of paper, that we should have more time to discuss the paper. I did however like the constructive criticism that was on the paper.
